For this project, I had to fix a problem a member of the community had with user centered design. I chose Saorla my flatmate who has EDS, a joint based disability. I decided to work on making a more appealing ankle support for her.
We started work by sketching up ideas and putting ideas onto a mannequin.
From here, I brought 2 ideas to Saorla to try out and give us feedback on.
With this feedback, I designed and developed a final support which would suit her best.
Additionally, I made an instruction sheet to help people remake the support easily.
